iPhone 15 Price Drops on New Years

There is good news for iPhone enthusiasts as a huge discount on the price of iPhone 15 has been announced.

Apple, the world's largest smartphone manufacturer, is offering huge discounts in China, cutting the price of iPhones by up to 500 yuan ($70).

The American tech company's Chinese website posted a 5% price cut on some iPhones. The limited-time New Year promotion offers discounted prices from January 18th to 21st, and the offer will last until mid-February.

Sales of Apple's latest iPhone 15 series phones in China were worse than their predecessors.

Domestic competitors such as Huawei Technologies and Xiaomi are competing in the market by introducing competing models. It's important to note that some companies and government departments in China are restricting employees' use of Apple devices for security reasons, mirroring the U.S. government's restrictions on Chinese apps.

iPhone sales in China in the first week of 2024 decreased by 30% compared to the same period a year ago.

Apple's new iPhone 15 is scheduled to officially go on sale at the Apple Store in Shanghai, China on September 22, 2023, so people are clamoring for the new iPhone 15 Pro.

Apple hasn't lowered the prices of its latest iPhones in years. The latest price cut comes after the company surprised the market by not increasing the prices of the iPhone 15 series launched in September.

Online shopping platforms, including Pinduoduo, have cut the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro by nearly 16% since the beginning of the year.
